Mary Mohan

Biography

Mary Mohan is a minister of hope, humor and music. She delights in the Lord and wants everyone she meets to experience the love and friendship of Jesus Christ. Her laughter is contagious and her songs share hope.

Her music style is a mixture of Southern Gospel heritage, blues and traditional sing-along favorites. She enjoys taking requests at the piano and fits comfortably in any ministry or setting. She will certainly give you things to laugh about while challenging you to a closer walk with Jesus.

It's her desire to "preach the Good News of Jesus Christ, encourage the saints, bind up the broken, heal the sick and to proclaim the coming of Jesus Christ before that great and dreadful day of His appearing.

Mary has two tapes, "The Son of God Is Shining." The title song on this tape was written during a battle she faced with depression. This powerful song ministers hope to people facing all kinds of darkness. People smile as she sings about her Granny in "Shouting in The Church" or taking another trip "Round the Desert Again." Sometimes there's a few tears as she sings, "This Trial Will Not Always Be So" or after this life is over "I'll Never See You Again" if you don't let Jesus come in. You'll find encouragement in "I Know God Can" and "This Trial's Gonna Be a Song." "Without The Shedding of Jesus Blood" and "I'm The One You've Been Looking For" reflect Jesus and His love for us at the cross. Her medley of "I'll Fly Away" by Albert E. Brumley and "Come Fly With Us" is an invitation for people to accept Jesus.

Her next tape is scheduled to be released this spring, "God's Looking For Someone Again." Many people comment they relate to the message of her music.

Mary lives with her husband, Ed in Pittsburgh, PA and has two grown children, Lance and Ashley. She is a member of Monroeville Assembly of God Church.
